Hi,

Students are responsible for buying their own required textbooks. The library does not automatically purchase these. Sometimes if we already have a print book in our collection the instructor will ask that we put it on reserve so it is available for short term loan. The role of the library is to go beyond the required textbooks. We do provide journal articles books and ebooks that will help you complete your assignments and that you can use for your research. If the Tyndale Library has an eBook that is a required reading for your course this does not mean that there are sufficient copies for the whole class. You need to check the eBook on the platform that provides it. If the license is unlimited or muti-user this should be enough for the class. If it is single user, only one person may access the content at the same time. Please plan accordingly.
