The Access Online  or View article links, are a quick way to go directly to full text. They link from WorldCat to full text material in other library databases. They may also link to digitized full text material that is open source and available to all. The library has chosen to make these open source resources available to its patrons as well.

The problem is that some of this open source material does not have standard numbers like ISBNs or Author fields. In this case they link using Title Recognition. In some cases there are books with similar titles but different authors. When the title match is made, this yields errant links.

WorldCat is doing its best to minimize this type of occurrence, and it should occur less often in the future. But right now it is something to be aware of.

You may report wrong Access Online links  via by using this LibAnswers forum and we will see if it can be resolved.
