The best way to provide an electronic article to your class is to provide a permanent link to the article. These are often called permalinks. These links are different from the URL's that appear in your browser's address bar. Authentication is required if students are to access articles from off campus and that is included in the permalink. 

The library can provide you with a permalink upon request, but you can also copy them directly from the database. 

When you find the article you want to link to, look for a button labelled ' Permalink or Share? This may also take the form of the Permalink or Share icons.

If the permalink is not working, you can also download the article and post it to your class page.
